As calendar entries and activities are created in CRM the system automatically synchronises them via Microsoft Exchange thus populating both the users Outlook client and Mobile device calendar application. The same calendar entries are also sent to any invitees via the same mechanism. The enhancement makes use of the OpenChange API ( http://www.openchange.org ) that provides an open source implementation of the MAPI protocol.
